This hike follows an old logging railroad route that has been expanded into a "trail" and a "State Park." It's an opportunity to walk ten miles (round trip) without worrying about elevation gain. We went fron Top Hill trestle to Buxton trestle, with Barbara Parker-Sullivan as the leader for the Friends of Tryon Creek Daytrippers. Thank you, Barbara.
