Beacon Rock and Hardy Falls

        While the hikers representing the Tryon Creek Daytrippers hiked merrily up Hamilton Mountain, the less ambitious ramblers enjoyed the beauties and the fantastic views from the trail leading to the top of Beacon Rock.  Afterwards they followed the Hamilton Mountain trail as far as Hardy Creek. The weather was warm but not really hot. It was probably a lot warmer when the hikers returned to their cars.
        Mickey Chewning arranged and led this outing, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all seven of us. Thank you, Mickey!
