Deschutes River

April 3, 2007
Ray Hayden was the leader today for the Tryon Creek Daytrippers visit to the Deschutes River.
This is always an interesting place, even though one must be careful of little annoyances like ticks and snakes.  We went first up to Ferry Springs, then on to Gordon Canyon, returning by the river trail.  Ray gave us all kinds of information on the history of the area and the wildflowers we found.  Thanks, Ray!
