Archer Mountain

        This was a Mazama sponsored outing led by Cathy Brandt.  It was also listed as a Roy Stout Memorial Hike.  We had a very congenial group of hikers who took well to the roughness of the route.
(Notice that I did not call it a trail.  I think "route" is more fitting!)  After the hike we enjoyed refreshments at the St. Cloud Recreation Area supplied by Julia Ferreira, also in memory and honor of Roy Stout.
        Thank you, Cathy, for arranging and leading this event, and thank you, Julia, for the information you provided about Roy and his contributions to hiking, and for the refreshments.
